These chickens are the prototype - the very first chicken fighters we made.

⚙️ Mechanics & Motion

Every WoodBot Chicken Fighter comes to life through pure mechanical design engineering and tension-based motion.

Each fighter’s legs operate through a hand-powered linkage system.

When you thrust the handle forward, the leg extends outward and the claw closes in one smooth motion, striking toward your opponent’s balloon chest. As you ease off the pressure, the built-in springs retract the leg, opening the claw and returning the stance to ready position — all powered by your control and timing.

Meanwhile, the head features a spring-loaded pecking mechanism. A tension string runs from the neck down to the playing board. When this string is pulled tight during a forward thrust, the head snaps forward in a pecking motion, striking with precision. As soon as tension is released, the spring draws the head back into place, ready for the next strike.

Together, these elements create a dynamic rhythm of kicks, claws, and pecks — a true mechanical brawl of balance, tension, and timing. The result is a hilarious yet skill-based match where every hit depends on your reflexes and finesse.
