Those Good Old Days Phonograph

An early milestone work. This surreal phonograph features a bronze lip base and a sterling silver horn with hummingbird engravings. The interactive box includes a handcrafted hinge mechanism, housing a custom silver-and-paper vinyl record and a miniature vintage microphone. A snapshot of my early creative evolution, blending traditional metalwork with experimental mixed media.

這是我早期的作品之一，主要透過蠟雕鑄造而成。木盒的部分特別使用了焊接工藝製作了可動的合頁（鉸鏈）機關。我將一雙青銅嘴唇與一只純銀打造的大喇叭結合，建造了這座留聲機，喇叭上刻有細膩的蜂鳥浮雕。此外，我還利用純銀與紙張製作了黑膠唱片，並配上一支純銀的復古麥克風。

回首這件作品，它代表了我早期利用手邊所有技能，將腦中想像具象化的重要過程。雖然以現在的眼光來看，有些細節我可能會選擇不同的技法來達成，但它完整記錄了我當時對工藝的熱情與對想像力的執著。
