Triostone Throne

Materials: Copper, Kyanites, Hematite

While wax carving is my primary expertise in metal arts, I still find immense joy in working directly with raw metal. This throne was entirely hand-fabricated from copper, involving no casting processes. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire creative journey, and the final piece captures my original vision with absolute precision.

The techniques I employed include sawing, riveting, soldering, stone setting, and liver of sulfur patina (blackening). I set two kyanites and a hematite on the back of the throne, while the sides are adorned with delicate chain tassels to add a touch of elegance to the structure.

三石王座 (Triostone Throne)

雖然蠟雕是我在金屬藝術領域的專長，但是我還是非常喜歡直接從金屬進行創作。這座王座完全由紅銅手工打造，沒有任何的鑄造。我很享受整個創作過程，而成品也精準地呈現了我想像中的樣子！所使用的技法有鋸工，卯釘，焊接，鑲嵌，以及染黑。我在王座背面鑲嵌了兩顆藍晶石與一顆赤鐵礦，兩側則點綴了細緻的鏈條流蘇。
